Verbal Intervention Training

Description

The CPI Verbal Intervention (VI) course equips participants with essential de-escalation strategies to safely manage disruptive or challenging behavior through effective, non-physical communication techniques. It focuses on fostering a safe, respectful environment while preventing conflict escalation.

Suitability

Any individual who works in environments where they may encounter disruptive or challenging behavior, equipping them with effective de-escalation
techniques to promote safe and respectful communication while preventing, conflict escalation.

Learning Outcomes

  • Learn to recognise signs of distress and gain a broad range of tools to help intervene early to prevent conflict and escalation.
  • Gain a clear understanding of using the right skills at the right time to effectively de-escalate when conflict arises, so that a behavioural crisis doesn’t occur.

Course Fee

CPI-VI training is given to a group of 18 participants or less at the cost of €1980 per group.

Duration & Format

Blended (Self learning & Classroom) or Classroom.
Participants need to attend all hours of training as to receive a copy of the CPI-VI® Participant Workbook, a Blue Card® with a unique registration number and a Certificate of Completion.
